BROOKFIELD - Barbara L. (Jaeggi) Mundell, 77, of Brookfield, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2012 at Baystate Mary Lane hospital in Ware, MA. She was born in Queens Village, NY on September 16, 1935; she was the daughter of Kathryn Dorothy "Dotty" (Forebaugh) Jaeggi and William Anthony Jaeggi. She leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Roger Mundell of Brookfield; son, Roger Mundell, Jr & his wife Cindy of Brookfield; daughter, Kathryn Latour & her husband James of Brookfield; son, Carl Mundell of Sarasota, FL; daughter, Heidi Proulx and her husband David of North Brookfield; a granddaughter, Randi Mundell of Brimfield; a grandson, Tyler Latour of Brookfield and great granddaughter, Elizabeth Hogan of Brimfield; two brothers, Richard Jaeggi of Norco, CA, and William "Tony" Jaeggi & his wife Deborah of Carlsbad, CA; a step sister, Patricia Kelly of Roseburg, OR; a step brother, James "Buddy" Ingalls of El Segundo, CA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She grew up in Brookfield, graduated from Brookfield High School and attended Worcester Junior College. She was a past member and Matron of Order of the Eastern Star. She with her husband established and built Nanatomqua Mobile Home Park in Brookfield and later served as the Treasurer for the Town of Brookfield retiring in 2005. She also served as the Brookfield Election Warden for many years and was involved in other community services over the years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 4-7 PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield MA. The funeral for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 10:00 AM in Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, corner of Main and Spring Streets, North Brookfield, MA.
