A small memorial was held Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Magnolia Estate for Paula Gladle, who passed away Thursday, April 4, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born Paula Marie Newby on July 2, 1942 in Manhattan, New York and was later adopted by the Rorrer family. She was married to and divorced from Thomas Gladle, with whom she had five children. She had been a resident of Lafayette, La for 19 years. She loved dogs and her independence, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her four daughters, Caulette Geddes and her husband, Charles Geddes, Marie Rocha, Julie Seamen, Michelle Osher and one son, Tommy Gladle; eleven grandchildren, Crystal, Charles Jr, Chrissy, Nichole, Robert, Trey, Blaine, Travis, Jordan and Anna; and numerous great grandchildren.
