Ronald Dale McCoy, 21, of 102 Rebecca Street, Kittanning, died at 9:15 a.m. yesterday, May 4, 1975 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, of injuries he received in an automobile accident Friday morning. A resident of this area his entire life, he was employed by Missions Beverages in Ford City. He was a drummer in the local "Country Diamonds" band. He attended Templeton Church of God. Born February 20, 1954, in Kittanning, he was the son of Vernon R. McCoy and Dorothy (Shick) McCoy. Surviving are his wife, Susan (Mechling) McCoy; a daughter, Julie at home; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Zemba of Ford City RD3; two brothers, Donald McCoy, an identical twin, Ford City RD3, and Dennis McCoy, Vandergrift; two sisters, Mrs. Nicholas (Janice) Dilick, Vandergrift RD2 and Mrs. Fred (Betsy) Benemann, Vandergrift; a step brother, Michael D. Zemba at home, and two step sisters, Michelle and Melinda Zemba both at home. His father, Vernon R. McCoy died in 1957. Friends are being received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m beginning Monday night and continuing through Tuesday at the Bauer Funeral Home, Kittanning. Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. C. Richard Main, pastor of Templeton Church of God at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cochran Cemetery. Leader Times, Kittanning 5/5/1975
