Ernest Lee Hill, 65, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Nov. 16, 1951 in Clinton, Ind., he was the son of Calvin Earnest and Alma J. (Norman) Hill.
He owned and operated Hill's Body Shop in Bloomfield and enjoyed drag racing.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Julie Hill of Bloomfield; one daughter, Bobbi Jo Hill of Bloomfield; his mother, Alma Hill of Bloomfield; one stepson, Eric (Jen) McNevin of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Sharon Hunt of Bloomfield, and Carolyn Meyer of Rockville; one brother, Allen Hill of Rockville; one granddaughter Brittany Robertson: one step granddaughter, Amelia McNevin; and his father-in-law, Donald "Pat" McNevin of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Deloris Helen McNevin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Antioch cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
