He played with the New York Giants (1913 to 1919), St. Louis Cardinals (1919 to 1921), Brooklyn Robins (1921), and finished in 1922 with the Chicago White Sox. In 217 games, he was a starting pitcher in 120 games. His won-loss record was 61-39 with 3.32 earned run average. Schupp played in the 1917 World Series. His best season was 1917 when he won 21 games. That year he led the National League in won-loss percentage and hits allowed per nine innings pitched.
