Don lived for many years on scenic Lake Mohawk in Sparta, New Jersey, moving to the east coast of Florida after retirement. Don is survived by his wife of 38 years, Norma Henry Reubert, and her daughters, Lisa Espie and Dina Espie Celentano (Albert Celentano), along with his children from his first marriage to Catherine Fidance Reubert, Nancy Reubert (Houston Elam), Donald Reubert (Kathleen Scully Reubert) and David Reubert (Julie DeMarsico Reubert). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his brothers Jay Franklin Reubert, William Bruce Reubert, William's wife Muriel Wagner Reubert, and his parents George Franklin Reubert and Helen Jay Reubert.
A memorial and celebration of Don's life will take place Saturday, Jan. 24, 11 a.m., at the Unity Church, 211 SE Central Pkwy, Stuart, Florida. A reception will be held afterward at 2289 SW Waterview Place, Palm City. Friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend both events. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Don's name to Treasure Coast Hospice.
