George N. Lee, of Route 1, Frankfort, Indiana passed away last night on his 85th birthday. He died at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette where he had been confined for ten days. Born in Madison, on February 28, 1866, he was a son of William and Jane Lee. He was married to Clura Sibbitt, who preceded him in death in 1927.

He was a member of the Rossville Methodist church. Surviving are four sons, Harvey Lee and Paul Lee of this city, Earl Lee of Muncie and Joe Lee of Mulberry; three daughters, Mrs. Ola Lee Leader, Route 7; Mrs. Rosa Bosworth, Route 1; and Inez Carroll of Logansport; a brother, Charles Lee of this city; and 16 grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. from the Moore Funeral Home in Rossville with interment in Rossville cemetery. [Note: He is buried at Ball Hill Cemetery in Carroll County, Indiana]. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this afternoon.
