Bailey was our doggie mascot at Highland House of Flowers. She had been the mascot for many years but I only met her in May of 2008 where I immdiately fell in love with her.

She was such a sweetie and every morning when I would come through the front door, she would either be sitting at the door looking out (for me I think) or she would run out to meet me when I came in, well actually I think it was the smell of bacon that caught her attention (but I'll say it was me). Then she would hop up and down so I would squat down and say hello to her.

Then she'd race me back to the back of the counter where I would give her some more lovin'.

My co-worker said that long ago, she would do that to all of the girls that worked there (and Bob too)only then she would flop down on her back and lay there so she could get her belly rubbed.......that sounds like Bailey.

Her mommy was Susie and she loved her little girl like she was her little girl. She had a bed for her in every room and her special treats were not far away.

When lunch time came around, she was "All Over It', going from person to person wanting somethin yummy, (usually chicken) and we would pretend to drop something so she could have it. She did get a little belly going on her.

I miss her alot. Since I am the driver at work, every time I would go to leave I had to go down the driveway and look for her and make sure she wasn't out there and coming back I would see her in the driveway and have to get out and escort her back inside. Sometimes when I would go, she;d stand at the top of the stairs and watch me as if she were sending me off.

We all miss you Bailey and will never forget your sweet little face and the special way you had with us.

In Loving Memory of Bailey...

Bailey passed away Friday night after a very long and happy life of 16 years with my family.

Bailey began as my sister's dog, stayed with me for awhile, and finally settled into a very happy and spoiled life for the past 10 years with my Mom.

She was the perfect companion that never left your side (especially if you had food!). Bailey was one of a kind and will truly be missed....
