This was my Maternal Great-Great Uncle. He was murdered by 3 or 4 cowards from Roseland, Kansas, who shot 4 men. My Uncle Francesco was one of the men that were shot in Turner Hall, in Skidmore, Kansas. These men did not like my Uncle and his friends singing, so they shot them. According to the Pittsburg, Kansas Headlight, he was shot in the liver, and died a while later on the afternoon of February 21, 1916, after surgery in Mt. Carmel Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas.
My Great-Grandfather Luigi never got over the loss of his younger brother. He was married and had a couple of children.
