Glen A. Foster Jr., 48, of Bradley, died Monday (April 1, 2013) at his home, following an extended illness. A memorial visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the 11 a.m. services at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, Kankakee. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery & Mausoleum in Bourbonnais. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
Glen was born July 12, 1964, the son of Glen A. Sr. and Viola Raymond Foster. He graduated from Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in 1984 and worked at CSL Behring, Bourbonnais. He loved the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He played for many years in a softball league at River Road Park in Kankakee, and he enjoyed camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, of Bradley, the former Donna Vickery, whom he married June 7, 1991, in Kankakee; stepchildren, Cari Eyre, of Piper City, and Larry Vest Jr., of Kentucky; stepgrandchildren, Cody Eyre and Dylan Adkins, Derek and Aidan Vickery, Austin Dickenson, Kaylee Vest, Chelsea King and Cody McMillan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Tony Wehrle, of Kankakee, and Ann and Bob Zasada, of Manteno; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Joe and Patty Foster, of Bourbonnais, and Terry and Shawn Foster, both of Bradley; and his beloved dog, Angel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Kevin Foster; and one stepson, James R. Vickery.
