Funeral for Alta Tedrow Moore, 95, of Aurora will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Craig Rolen will officiate. Burial will follow at Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at the funeral home.
Moore died Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Aurora.

Born May 22, 1915, to William and Sarah (Logan) Tedrow on Dead Man Mountain, 10 miles north of Jacksboro in Jack County, she worked in retail sales for more than 50 years at W.T. Grant, Woolworth, Leonard's, Dillard's, and Monnig's stores.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Vestle, Buddie, Deward and Warren Tedrow; and sister, Eustace Hull.

She is survived by daughter Sarah Goodwin and husband, Douglas, of Aurora; granddaughter, Natalie Goodwin of Aurora; nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.

Pallbearers will be Cody Tedrow, Christian Tedrow, Jimmy Tedrow, Monte Tedrow, Bradley Tedrow and Beral Tedrow.
