James E. "Jim" Hutson, 75, of Blytheville, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.

Jim was born in Galesburg, Illinois to Byron and Virginia (Walker) Hutson. He was retired from Nucor Yamato where he was a heavy equipment operator and was affiliated with Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. While living in Knoxville, Illinois for a while, Jim was a volunteer firefighter. He could fix anything and was a workaholic. He remodeled houses and worked on all of his family's houses and was an electrician, plumber, sheet rock finisher, and carpet installer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bob and Neil Hutson; and sister, Donna Conover.

Jim leaves his wife, Mary Bradford Hutson of the home; son, Jeff Hutson of Blytheville; brother, John W. Hutson of Moline, Illinois; sister, Barbara Hutson Perry of Knoxville, Illinois; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Lois Bradford of Knoxville, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4th at 1:00 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jessie Gay officiating. There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Knox County Nursing Home, 800 N. Market St., Knoxville.

Jim & Mary were both cremated and will be buried with their son Jeff when he passes at Memorial Gardens in Blytheville, Arkansas.
