Funeral services for E. Maxine Wiese, 86, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 33930 N. State Road, Genoa. The Rev. Daniel C. Berteau, pastor, will officiate.

Born Jan. 18, 1914, in Hoopeston, Ill., to Clifford and Tressa (nee Duffin) Dice, she died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, at her home. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.

Mrs. Wiese was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Genoa, a 4- H leader for 27 years, and a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Woodstock.

Surviving are her daughter, Joyce (Frank) Aniballi of Crystal Lake; sons, Leonard Wiese Jr. of Odessa, Texas, Lester Wiese of Genoa, Harold (Sharon) Wiese of Hampshire and Lynn (Becky) Wiese of Charleston; sisters, Nadine Odle and Margene Echard, both of Hoopeston; brother, Harold Dice of Hoopeston; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Wiese Sr., whom she married May 29, 1936, in Chicago; and brother, Howard Dice.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, at Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St., Genoa. A memorial fund has been established c/o Cooper-Quiram Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St., Genoa, IL 60135.
