Virginia Beach - Frances Juanita Redd Spivey,89, passed away April 11, 2013. She was born in Isle of Wight County the daughter of the late Charles Cephas Redd and Gertrude Virginia Crumpler Redd. She was predeceased by her 3 sisters and 1 brother. Frances was a graduate of Windsor High School Class of 1940. She retired as a property manager. Frances is survived by her husband of 70 years, Raymond Hardy Spivey; daughters and son-in-law, Diane and Jim Carver of Hertford, NC, Barbara Boudion and Peter Yanson of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren and their spouses, Chris and Karin Carver, Kevin and Nicole Carver, and Adam Boudion; great grandchildren, Hannah, Austin, and Peyton Carver; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Elsie Mae Gauthier. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. T.A. Powell officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Veteran Cemetery at a later date. Friends may join the family other times at the residence.
