Mary Nell “Betty Jo” Buffington, of Carnesville, was the daughter of the late Jimmy and Delia Carlan Buffington. The last survivor of her immediate family, she was the sister of the late, Frances Sweat, Odie Mae Hamby, Rosa Lee Outz, Sara Buffington, Cora Bennett, Ed Buffington, Willis Buffington, Robert Buffington, and Marvin Buffington.
She retired from Coats and Clarke and was of the Baptist faith.
