While Pfc. George Becker, 9826 43th Ave SW., with the Fifth Army in Italy, was helping carry a litter, he and his three companions, were hailed by a Jerry in a nearby house. Becker, able to speak German, shouted back for him to come out, but was told by the German that there were wounded men with him. Approaching warily, the group found three Nazis, one an aid man, and another wounded, but all of one mind…to surrender.
