Myron D. Isham enlisted as private in Company G, 2nd Regiment, Vermont Infantry in August 1862 at Essex, Vermont. He mustered out at Washington, D.C. on June 19, 1865. Afterward, he resided in Pottsdam or Oswegatchie, N.Y., Rockford, Illinois and Buffalo, Kansas. He was a farmer. He and Calista Adeline Taft were married 7 Dec. 1848 in Vermont. They had six children: Almira, Charles Wesley, Helen Henrietta, Leslie Henry, Elsie Leola, and Martha Jane. Calista died in 1877 and on 25 Nov 1882 he married Mary Ann Baldwin Bradley. He lived in Wilson County, Kansas until his death in 1903.
