Services for Mrs. Addie J. Morgan, wife of Rev. A.J. Morgan were held at the First Baptist Church. Her husband, A.J. Morgan officiated at the service at his wife's request, assisted by Rev. Truman Aldredge and other ministers of Breckenridge.
Mrs. Morgan was head of the Sunday School department of the FIrst Baptist CHurch for many years; past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and secretary of the Eastern Star for many years.
Mr. Morgan remarked today that "whatever I have done she made it possible." Sometimes answering the telphone as many as 10-12 times a night.
She and Mr. Morgan came to Breckenridge from Abilene in 1919 after Mr. Morgan returned from service as chaplain in World War I.
