Ralph McKee, 43, Dies Following One-Day Illness
Col. Ralph McKee, 43, Stewarts Lane, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the University of Kentucky Medical Center following one day's illness. A native of Boyle County, Col. McKee was born on December 5, 1924, and had been employed with the Carnation Company for the past 18 years. A veteran of World War II, he had lived here all his life and attended Danville High School. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Etta Wilson McKee, and his mother, Mrs. Mae McKee, both of Stewarts Lane; six daughters, Patsy, Deloros, Terri, Janice, Melody and Rebecca McKee, all at home; three sons, James, Ralph Jr. and Michael McKee, all at home; and one sister, Mrs. Robert Young of Alum Springs. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Highland Court Christian Church by the Rev. Adam S. Neikirk. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Friends may call at Stith Funeral Home.
