Death of a Young Girl from Typhoid Fever
Ellen, the 10 yr. old daughter of Mrs. Hannah White who resides at 130 Washington St., died Wednesday afternoon from Typhoid fever, with which she had been affected about two weeks ago.
The funeral will be held today from the residents of Mrs. White’s at 11 am.
Another daughter of Mrs. White is also sick with the fever which she contracted about the 4th of July, and Wednesday afternoon she was delirious and her condition was alarming. Dr. Joseph Fife was called in and he ordered a bathing treatment which was commenced at once. That night she had improved a little but she still was delirious. There are hopes of her recovery but her condition is serious.

Typhoid Fever May Claim Another Victim
The remains of Ellen White, the 10 yr. old daughter of Mrs. Hannah White, who died Wednesday evening from Typhoid fever, where placed in the public vault, at Oak Hill Cemetery, on Thursday, awaiting the return of her brother who is absent, but expected at any time.
The other daughter of Mrs. White who is also a sufferer of Typhoid fever, was very low all-day Thursday and in an unconscious condition. It is feared she cannot recover.
