ADDISON - Ty William Batson, 45, died June 16, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 29, 1969, in Ellsworth, the son of William and Victoria (Burgess) Batson of Addison.
He graduated from Narraguagus High School. Ty worked as a lobster fisherman and a co-owner of Caler Cove Lobster Cooperative in Addison. He absolutely loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, traveling and lobster fishing on his boat the "Lorena Mae".
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Lorena(Bagley) Batson; very special chocolate lab, Lucy; parents, William and Victoria of Addison; sister, Peggy Goston and husband Wallace of Milbridge; sister-in-law, Linda Stanley and husband Walter of Bangor; brother-in-law, Randy Bagley and wife Carole of Rocky Hill, CT; nephews and nieces, Lee Goston and girlfriend, Amanda Fickett of Addison; Chelsea Goston of Milbridge; Will and Jacob Stanley of Bangor; Bryan and Kayla Bagley of Rocky Hill, CT; special cousins, Eric and Glenn Robinson of Steuben; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, baby Batson; grandparents, Charles and Jennie Burgess and Walter Jr and Alberta Batson; mother-in-law, June Bagley; father-in-law, Edmond Bagley; and very special uncle, Walter Batson III.
Services will be at the Faith United Methodist Church, Route 1, Columbia, with cousin, Priest Chris Burke presiding.
