John Hintz, aged 78 years, a German resident of Hickory Grove, died Tuesday, Feb 15. He leaves five children, Mrs. Anna Erdman, Mrs. Caroline Neuman, Mrs. Augusta Pobanz, Mrs. Tracy Pobanz and one son Gus. The funeral occurred Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Brick church, Rev. Reickle officiating. Mr. Hintz lived to a good old age. He was much beloved by all who knew him and his death is deeply mourned.
