The funeral was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, at Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Weeks and the Rev. Penny Ziemer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Boyette was born on Dec. 9, 1916, to Frank Lofton and Lou Davie Royal Boyette. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Honeycutt Boyette; his son, Paul Henry Boyette, and his twin sisters, Thelma Boyette and Elma Boyette Boone. Mr. Boyette was a truck driver with the N.C. Dept. of Transportation, a retired farmer and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors are his loving and devoted daughters; Debbie B. Boyette and husband Gary; Sylvia B. Fryar and husband, Billy and Judye B. Tart and husband Donnie; his cherished grandchildren, Robbie Boyette, and wife, Cheryl of Moultrie, Ga, Kimberly B. Jackson and husband, Alex, Howard Boyette, Paula and Jennifer Fryar and Marsha and Stephen Tart.
The family received friends Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 from 6-8 p.m at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
