Annette Bridgman Adkins was born in Poteau, Oklahoma on September 8, 1923 to Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Bridgman Sr. She married Richard N. Adkins on August 19, 1944 and they were married 65 years before he passed away.
Annette was an artist for more than 40 years. Her paintings were shown in three art galleries in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and Fort Smith, Arkansas. She wrote three cookbooks and a cooking column for the Muskogee Daily Phoenix for several years.
A memorial service celebrating Annette's life will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Rowsey Chapel at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. David Burris officiating.
