CENTRALIA - Mary Ann Lowery, 72, died Friday, Feb. 14, at Providence Centralia Hospital. She had been a resident of Galvin and Centralia since 1943.

Born May 26, 1924 to Willian and Pearl "Pea" Rudy in Raymond, Wash., she was one of three children. She graduated from West Linn High School and attended a business college in Oregon.

She moved to Galvin and married Floyd W. Lowery on Oct. 2, 1943.

She was a homemaker for a number of years, as she raised her two sons. When they were grown she became a proofreader for Bank Supply Co. of Centralia, where she was employed for 11 years.

She was a longtime member of the Centralia Eagles Auxiliary 512 and the Women Auxiliary of the Moose.

She is survived by her husband, Floyd, at home; her two sons, James F. of Raymond and Kenneth A. of Centralia; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mary Ann Lowery will be held Monday, Feb. 17, at 2 p.m. at the Centralia eagles Aerie, 2308 N. Pearl St. The Women's Auxiliary of the Centralia Eagles will officiate. Cremation is under the care of Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary, Centralia.
