Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m Friday at Morris Funeral Home
by the Rev. Emory Osburne and the Rev. Nolan Queen. Burial will be in the Community Memorial
Gardens. He was born Sept. 17, 1957, in Cabell County, a son of Orville and
Billy Jo Napier Damron of Wayne. He was a Huntington Cement Co. employee. He was a member of
Construction and General Laborers Union Local 543 and Wayne Masonic Lodge 18. His closest friends will
serve as pallbearers. Additional survivors include his wife, Robin Damron; one
daughter, Sara Jo Damron, and one son, Jason Dale Damron, both at home; maternal
grandmother, Maltie Napier of Wayne; one sister, Barbara S. Damron of Middletown, Ohio; and two brothers,
Tommy Keith Damron of Dunlow and Mike Damron of Wayne. Friends may call from
6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Morris Funeral Home.
