Anna Taylor, age 64, of Waverly, Ill. died Wednesday evening (April 8, 2015) at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Ill.
She was born June 13, 1950 in Pueblo, Colorado daughter of the late George M. and Maybelle Reed Jensen.
She married Danny Taylor on July 20, 1968 in Long Beach, California and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Michele Wallis (Gary) of Waverly, Ill., and Melissa Humphreys (Jarrod) of Aurora, Colorado; two grandchildren, Jakob Wood and Billy Jack Humphreys both of Aurora, Colorado; four sisters, Marjorie Huddleston (Dean) of Pueblo, Colorado, Candy Droz (Richard) of Buena Vista, Colorado, Helen Poe (Gene) of Bakersfield, California and Barbara Wood of Las Vegas, Nevada; three brothers, Bud Jensen (Janet) of Mustang, Oklahoma, Larry Jensen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Randy Jensen (Sara) of Aurora, Colorado; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a fifteen year employee of Walmart in Colorado retiring in 2009. She was also a special education teacher’s aide in Aurora, Colorado for many years. She loved to sew, crochet, and write poetry.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday (April 11, 2015) at the Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Waverly, Ill.
Burial will be private in Colorado.
