"Angeline A. Garrett was born at Fort Ann, N.Y. May 30, 1825 and was married to Mr. Jno. D. Poler Sept 13, 1841 removing to Wisconsin with her husband 10 years later. There was born to them (can't read)_______ children , the oldest son and youngest daughter having passed into the spirit world before her, leaving four to mourn her loss, Mrs. H.W. Dutcher, Mrs. Jas. H. Whereatt, Mr. Chas. Poler and Mrs. Chas. E. Clark. Mrs. Poler died Wednesday, July 17, at midday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Clark. Her sickness was long and wearisome but she bore it with Christian fortitude and patience. Her pathway to the tomb was made much easier by the loving care of her daughter and family. Sister Poler was a true Christian and died triumphant in the faith of her Saviour. She was a member of the Omro Advent church at the time of her decease. For thirty years she had been a member of Christ's Church in this faith. In her earlier years she was a member of the Baptist church. The funeral was held last Saturday, July 20, from the residence in this village, the services being conducted by the writer, and the remains were interred in the Blackburn cemetery. Wm Moyle"
