He went by the name Joe, was in the army from 1948-1950. Met his wife Reba Woodrum while station at Ft. Bevore. He grew up on a farm in Orion Twnshp Richland Co. WI. After he and Reba were married they moved back to WI and farmed, later he let in to his wander-lust and they became over-the-road 18 wheelers aand before his death had driven in all of the contiguous 48 states, 7 provinces of Canada and into Mexico. He and Reba had 4 children.
