Lydia "Leaddy" Colver Collver
Learn about upgrading this memorial...
Birth: 1704
New London County
Connecticut, USA
Death: unknown
Schooleys Mountain
Morris County
New Jersey, USA

Born about 1704. Married Thomas Colver Nov. 25, 1726 at the First Congregational Church, Stonington CT. Her father Ephraim Colver is her father-in-law's youngest uncle. So, Lydia and her husband Thomas's father (John Colver 1670-1760) are first cousins.

No gravestone documented. Lydia's burial location is unknown, but the likely location is the Colver Family Burial Ground established by her cousin John Colver (d.1760). After John Colver's death the Burial Ground was on the parcel of land inherited by her husband Thomas' brother Robert Colver; with Thomas and Lydia having the adjacent parcel later inherited by Thomas and Lydia's eldest son Amos. Amos, son of Thomas and Lydia, and Amos' wife (her name is unknown) are buried here according to instructions in Amos' will.
