She was born in Mesa, Arizona, June 8, 1921 to John James and Lodia Myrtle (Wimberly) Gandy. Pearline married George Perkins, February 17, 1940 in Purcell, OK and he preceded her in death in 2003. She lived most of her life around Carnegie, OK, having worked at the Carnegie Hospital for over thirty years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Carnegie and Martha Road Baptist Church, Martha, OK She and George lived in Carnegie from 1951 to 2003 when they moved to Martha, OK.
Survivors include: son: Roscoe Perkins, Wichita Falls, TX; daughter: LaVerne Muller and husband, Phillip, Martha, OK; four grandchildren: Matt Muller, Melissa Muller Hurst, Amy Perkins Schroeder and Jason Perkins, twelve great grand-children; and sister: Ruth Allen, Yucaipa, CA She was preceded in death by her husband, George, five brothers and three sisters.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m.,Saturday, April 16,2011 at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home Chapel, Carnegie, OK with burial in the Carnegie Cemetery under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Carnegie, OK.
