She was born in South Hope, a daughter of Halver A. Sr. and Hazel Annis Hart. She graduated from Union High School.
Mrs. Tuttle owned and operated Gould's Maternity Hospital in South Hope.
She was a member of the Peoples United Methodist Church in Union, and of the Rug Club for many years.
Her husband, Dr. Irving P. Tuttle, died in 1990.
Surviving are two daughters, Annette Gould of East Union and Rebecca Jones of South Hope; a son, William Gould of Hope; a sister, Ann Dickens of Lincolnville; three brothers, Arthur F. Hart of Byfield, Mass., Elmer Hart of South Hope and Halver A. Hart Jr. of Nobleboro; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at the Achorn Cemetery in Rockland in the spring. The Rev. Ralph Miller will officiate. Arrangements are by the Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro.
