Services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home in Petal for Howard D. "Dean" Rasberry, 65, of Petal, who died March 2, 1998, at Forrest General Hospital.

The Rev. Gerald Buckley will officiate.

A native of Stonewall, Mr. Rasberry retired in 1971 after 20 years in the U. S. Air Force, having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of Petal-Harvey Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Rasberry of Petal; six sons, Larry Rasberry of Hattiesburg, and Kenny Rasberry, James Rasberry, Ronnie Rasberry, Glen Rasberry and Marlin Romine, all of Sacramento, Calif.: four sisters, Zoie Cook and Ruby Smith, both of Meridian, Bobbie Joyce Green of Eugene, Ore., and Annie Beeman of Collinsville; two brothers Harmon Rasberry and Fred Rasberry, both of Stonewall; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home in Petal., which is in charge of arrangements.
