A funeral for Robert N. Bingaman, 68, of Shingle Springs, will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. at Chapel of the Pines, followed by private cremation. The Rev. Richard E. Eggert will conduct the services. Mr. Bingaman died Dec. 5 at a local convalescent hospital. He was born in Arkansas and lived 35 years in California, the past two months in El Dorado county. He was a carpenter and a member of Carpenters Union, Local 34. Mr. Bingaman is survived by his wife, Alma Bingaman of San Leandro; father of Gene D. Bingaman of Shingle Springs, Ted Bingaman of Colorado, Bob Bingaman and Marcelen Frazier, both of Castro Valley, Jeanette De Stigter of San Ramon, Sherrie Howell of Pleasanton and Penny Stone of San Leandro; and 23 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
