Alfred E. Watson was welcomed into heaven on April 3, 2015 at the age of 85.

He is predeceased by his daughter, Doreen Watson-Thomas; brother, William Watson; sister, Edna Peters; and sister, Carol Turnbull.

Survived by his wife of 63 years, Katherine M. Watson; children: Donna Walker (Rick), John Watson (Mary), and Daniel Watson (Sylvia); brother, Thomas Watson, of FL; sister, Doris DeSantis (Donald), of Rochester, NY; and long-time special friend, William DeConinck, of Rochester; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Alfred is a decorated member of the United States Marine Corps and a veteran of the Korean War.

A 30-year retiree from General Motors Corporation and will forever be known as the avid golfer, fisherman, and most importantly, a family man. The Thousand Islands New York was one of his favorite places to spend time with family and friends fishing and boating.

We will forever cherish his sense of humor, as he used to say, "I will feel with my fingers and sleep with my eyes closed. When I catch a flight home I will make sure to use both my hands."
