FITZMARTIN, William F. age 93, of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday September 20, 2011. Mr. Fitzmartin, a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, was employed as an engineer with Chrysler during his working career. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria; two sisters, Anna & Beatrice; and four brothers, Paul, Phillip, James, and John. He is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Fitzmartin, Susan Fitzmartin, Colleen Alexander (Larry); a son, William Fitzmartin; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Maryellen McCoy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am Friday at St Anthony Church, preceded by a 9:30am prayer service at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton. Mr. Fitzmartin will be forever remembered for his love, charm and wonderful wit.
