Dad became a Stone Mason after the war, a lot of the brick buildings and homes in Barboursville and Salt Rock are his master pieces. He was very proud of his work and it showed.

Aunt Betty Holley Hicks (Dad's half-sister) said Grandma Lola told her Dad was born in Ohio and they came to Barboursville when Dad was two years old.
