Death of Mrs. Tillman Glover
It is a sad affair indeed, the death of Mrs. Tillman Glover, mother of ten children ranging in ages from one week to eighteen years.
The last child was born a week ago last Sunday. On Friday her condition became serious and the following day she was removed to Durango for treatment, but she was beyond medical aid and passed away Sunday night. The remains were brought to the family home in Wallace gulch on Monday, where funeral services were conducted shortly after noon on Tuesday, by Rev. Brooks Hitchings, and interment followed in the Bayfield cemetery.
Mable Clara Hillegoss was born on May 11, 1879; married to Tillman Glover on December 12, 1898. At the age of sixteen years she united with the Presbyterian church and later with the Christian church. She was faithful to her Master to the end.
Besides the husband and children deceased leaves two brothers and five sisters and many friends and neighbors to mourn her departure.
