Lloyd "Dusty" Owen, 68, of Lapeer died January 8, 1976 in Lapeer Co. General Hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Owen is survived by his wife Mary, three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Crowel of Almont, Mrs. Betty Lou Lyons of Virginia and Mrs. Juanita Raymond, Lapeer; two sons, Mr. Lloyd Owen Jr. of Davison and Robert Owen of Imlay City. Surviving as well are 19 grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters. Mr. Owen served during World War II in the Corps of Engineers and for many years was an active American Legion member. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 11 in Muir Bros. Funeral Home, Lapeer. Rev. James Olah officated. Internment was in Attica Cemetery.
