Norma Sue Armstrong, 74, of Nampa, passed away January 12, 2017 at a care facility in Nampa, ID. She was born July 26, 1942 in Huntsville, Arkansas to Odie and Nellive Fowler. Norma Spent her early years in Arkansas but the family moved West when she was 10 years old. They settled in Buhl, Idaho where she met her future husband. Although the family returned to Arkansas in 1960 that young man didn't let her go. He followed and Norma married Herbert C. Armstrong September 19, 1960 in Huntsville Arkansas. They returned to Idaho a couple years later and settled in Caldwell where they lived and raised their family. Norma enjoyed Flower arranging, reading, going to Meridian speedway with daughter Tena, and spending time with her grandchildren. Everyone that knew Norma loved her.

Norma is survived by her daughters and a son-in-law, Tena Mathewson and Alice & Carey McGoldrick, all of Nampa; five grandchildren - Arabella, Zebediah, Elisha, & Seraphina McGoldrick & Cayla Mathewson; two brothers and one sister in Northwest Arkansas; sister-in-law, Ida Adams; sister-in-law Silvia Foreman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Herb and her parents: Odie & Nellive.

A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 534 W. Iowa Ave Nampa, Idaho at 2 pm on Monday, January 16 2017.
