Kenneth Harder, 78 of Bay St. Louis, died Saturday, October 8, 2016. He was born in Jackson and grew up in Biloxi, but he was a longtime resident of Bay St. Louis. He was a talented saxophone player and a skilled water skier.
Ken was a member of the Knights of Columbus and graduated from Mississippi State University. He was a beloved and respected teacher at Bay High School for thirty years.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Zoe Harder.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia and his favorite daughter, Page and her husband Timothy; and one granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Bay High School, 750 Blue Meadow Rd, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520 are preferred and would have been appreciated by Ken. (Please put in care of Mr. Harder on your contribution.)
The Funeral Mass is on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Gulf church in Bay St. Louis, where friends may visit beginning at 10 am. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS, is in charge of arrangements.
