Gregory V. Long, age 53, Neosho, Mo., passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at his home. Gregory was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Joplin and worked as an electrician most of his adult life. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Long, who died in March of 2007; and a brother, Mickey Long. Survivors include his daughter, Amberlea Brooke Long; a son, Branch Gregory Long; and a grandson, Aubrey Lee Woodrum, all of Neosho; his father, Earl Long, of Joplin; three siblings, Teresa Janssen and husband, Mike, of Denver, Colo., Brad Long and wife, Marcia, and Tom Long and wife, Debbie, all of Joplin; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
