Alice E. Schaefer, 75

Alice E. Schaefer, 75, of rural Bluffton, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at Caylor-Nickel Extended Care.

Born April 15, 1920 in Wells County, she was the daughter of Clinton and Grace Warner Studebaker. She married Kenneth W. Schaefer, who survives, on Nov. 4, 1939 in Geneva.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, David Schaefer of Ossian and Sam Schaefer of Bluffton; three brothers, Hugh Studebaker and Robert Studebaker, both of Bluffton, and Max Studebaker of Spring Lake, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Taylor and Mrs. Bernard (Betty) Zimmerman, both of Bluffton.

A daughter and two sons preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and all day Friday at Goodwin Memorial Chapel.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Apostolic Christian Church East with the ministers of the church officiating.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.
