Willie Williams, 61, Found Dead at Mt. Vernon home.

Willie Edgar Williams, 61, a retired farmer, died at his home at 325 S. 10th street, yesterday afternoon at 5:45.

Mr. Williams was born in Jefferson County on March 24, 1894, the son of John and Isabelle (Acord) Williams.

He was a member of the Baptist church. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 pm in the chapel of the Pulley Funeral Home with the Rev. Bird Green officiating. Burial will be in Abner Cemetery near Nason, IL.

Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 3 pm today.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters; 16 grandchildren; two brothers, Oscar and Walter of Ina, IL and one sister, Mrs. Laura Allen of Ina, IL.

One daughter and a sister predeceased him.
