"Turner Joseph "Tony" Scallon passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 71. He was born in Beaumont, Texas and lived in LaPlace, LA for the past 40 years. Tony was the loving husband of 51 years of Priscilla Scallon. He was the father of Stephen Scallon, Gregory Scallon and Teresa Scallon Holen as well as a great father-in-law to Larie, Staci and Kevin. He was T-Paw to Haydn and Kayleb Scallon, Catherine and Elizabeth Scallon, and Sarah and Matthew Holen. He was the loving brother of Kathy Adams and Glo Anders. He was preceded in death by his parents Turner and Tomye Scallon of Baytown Texas. Tony was in sales in the beverage industry for 46 years and anyone who knew him knows he had Pepsi in his blood. His passion was fishing and loved to be on a boat. He was fun loving, full of life and inspired every person he met in some way. People loved to be around him and his sense of humor was one-of-a-kind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial was held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home Wednesday, February 1, 2012."
