Vivian (Anderson) Worrell Carter
Vivian was the daughter of Dale A. and Mae (McCormack) Anderson.

Vivian Worrell Carter, 90, passed away February 1, 2004, in Grand Prairie, Texas, where her daughter-in-law, Marie Worrell, her grandson, Scott Worrell, and his wife, Joanne, were lovingly caring for her. Vivian was born June 15, 1913 in Clayton, Indiana. She graduated from Clayton High School and Indiana Business College. She moved with her husband, Herman Worrell to Indianapolis where they raised three children. She was an executive secretary for George S. Olive and Company and for Tyler Sharp and Davis Law Firm. After Herman's death, she served as Housemother for Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at DePauw University. She married Joe V. Carter in 1981. They lived in Indianapolis and Sarasota, Florida. Vivian was preceded in death by her two brothers, her sister, her son Dennis and her husbands, Herman and Joe. She is survived by her son William of Durham, North Carolina, daughter Reverend Andrea Worrell of Avon, Indiana and grandson Scott H. Worrell of Grand Prairie, Texas. At Vivian's request, no services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care, Inc.
Her husband, Herman Worrell, and her parents as well as her brother and his wife, Robert Dale and Ingrid Anderson are all buried at Clayton West Cemetery in Clayton, Indiana.
