Jimmy J. Bailey, age 81, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at his home in Ocean City.

Born in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Oscar and Verlie Milan Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a Navy veteran, a member of the Moose and Elks Clubs. His hobbies included hunting and fishing.

Mr. Bailey is survived by his beloved wife, Mary L. Bailey; one son, Jimmy Bailey Jr.; and one daughter, Cheryl Bailey of Pasadena, Md.; one brother, Eugene Bailey of Ocean City; five sisters, Carmen Bailey, Genalee Arnold, Bonnie McKinney, Peggy Adams and Gertrude Cameron. Also survived by four grandchildren, Stacie, Derek, Jeffrey and Brooke, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 4th and Pontiac, Baltimore, Md.

Arrangements are being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin, Md.
