Military Data- 1862-27 Jun Age: 26 Crockett, Houston Co., TX Enlisted as a Private in Waul's Texas Legion by Capt.W.D. Hicks for three year enlistment. Assigned to Co. F, 1st Infantry Battalion.
Military 1863 Jul Vicksburg, Warren, MS In Co. F, 1st Infantry Battalion, he was in Vicksburg during the siege of the city. After the defeat July 4th he apparently left the city, but was captured near Jackson, MS and sent to Snyder's Bluff, MS on July 30th. End of record
