Bud Dax Rites
AVOCA—Funeral services for Bud Dax, 66, Avoca, who died Friday morning in a Richland Center hospital after a long illness, will be held at 1:30 p. m. Sunday in the home and at 2 in the Avoca Methodist church.
The Rev. Richard Aukema will officiate and burial will be in the Avoca cemetery.
Born in Luxemburg, Europe, Mr. Dax came to the United States when he was 4 years old. He farmed near Avoca for 30 years and for the past 10 years has lived in Avoca. He served two years each on the Avoca village board and the town of Pulaski board.
Surviving are his wife, two sisters, Mrs. Peter Lieffreg, Boscobel; and Mrs. Jake Malter, Muscoda; a brother, George, Avoca; four daughters, Mrs. John Kline, Mrs. Lee Bahr, and Mrs. Milo Mcintosh, all of Avoca, and Mrs. Jack Hill, Sauk City; two sons, J. B. Dax, Cobb, and Norbert, Badger Village; and 13 grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the Thoni - Godager funeral home, Boscobel, to the home this afternoon when friends may call.
