WOONSOCKET --- Leo Edward Boucher, 71, of 1 Main St., a truck driver until retiring in 1973, died Sunday at the Landmark Medical Center-Woonsocket Unit. He was the husband of Therese (Plante) Boucher.

Born in Glendale, Burrillville, he was a son of the late Mederic and Roseanna (Lagace) Boucher. Mr. Boucher had worked for the former Golden Trucking Co., and the former Ray Cotton Co.

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Michael and Thomas Boucher, both of Woonsocket; two daughters, Janet Jenkins of Cranston and Patricia Boucher of Aspen, Colo.; five brothers, Conrad and Eugene Boucher, both of Milford, Mass., Mederic, Zoel and Ronald Boucher, all of Woonsocket; two sisters, Ella St. Laurent of Woonsocket, Therese Joanis of Millville, Mass., and two granddaughters.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Avenue. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, Mass.
